The National Games successfully concluded on July 23 in Pingtung. Taoyuan City team set the best record in the history by winning 79 golds, 66 slivers and 75 bronzes, ranking third in the country, only second to Taipei City and New Taipei City.
The Education Bureau pointed out the comparing to 59 gold last year, this year Taoyuan won 20 more medals comparing to last year. The performance of the year has greatly improved. With 66 silvers and 75 bronzes, they won 220 awards in total. which set the best record for Taoyuan City team. It is also the first time that they got the third place in a national ocmpetition. They defeated strong competitors and won competitions under the sun in Southern Taiwan, it wasn't easy at all!
Founded by ShareHope, Missioncare, the Taoyuan junior high school team focused on elite training. They didn't disappoint anyone, won golden and silver metals. They have also won the second place on the high school boys team. The principle especially thanked Chairman Yang and ShareHope company for giving support and encouragement to Taoyuan high school. The school will work hard and harder to earn better performance for the city of Taoyuan.
Chairman Yang accepted a certificate of appreciation fom mayor Wen-chang Zheng, and was invited to have fun with the principle and little players, other than acknowledging their outstanding performance, Chairman Yang had also encouraged them, hoping they can win more games for the City of Taoyuan, the school and themselves.
